With 4 beds for arrhythmias and ischemic heart diseases.

General unit

With 10 beds for organs failure such as ( respiratory failure, circulatory failure, hepatic failure, renal failure) multiple injured patients , poisoning cases, neurological diseases, major post- operative cases.

Laboratory room

For blood gases and electrolytes.

Obstetrics and Gynecology

The department is staffed with highly experienced medical staff and nurses and provides several services:

·      Highly equipped unit for high risk pregnancy cases which require special medical care such as : diabetes, chronic HTN, pie-eclampsia, as well as complications associated with 0pregnancy

·      Ultra- sound is used for diagnosing and management of 0gynecology& obstetrics cases

·      The department is equipped with diagnostic laparoscopy, Hyteroscopy, colposcopy or surgical laparoscopy

·      The department also includes: Family planning clinic , high-risk pregnancy clinic, infertility clinic.

·      The department is a training unit for reproductive medicine in affiliation with ministry of health.

Renal Dialysis Unit

Patients who have at the outset a suitable live- related kidney donor(s) are also accepted for dialysis therapy till they are transplanted in another center. This policy is likely to change as the new Nephrology / Urology building will be put to work by   2002. This is a three stores building which incorporates all facilities for Nephrology, Urology, and renal transplantation services.
